Kilimo Timilifu (Holistic Farming) is a non-profit training and empowering Tanzanians to use Conservation Agriculture, Appropriate Technology, and Farming Cooperatives as a means to become self-supporting, combat poverty, and ensure Tanzanian food and land security along the coast of Tanzania and beyond.

“[A] man is developing himself when he grows, or earns, enough to provide decent conditions for himself and his family; he is not being developed if someone gives him these things.”
Julius Kambarage Nyerere (Tanzania’s first president), from his book Uhuru na Maendeleo (Freedom and Development), 1973.

At Kilimo Timilifu, we are empowering Tanzanians with Conservation Agriculture skill so they can not only develop themselves through these skills, but are certified as Conservation Agriculture Trainers to empower other Tanzanians to do the same.
